I would like to dedicate my last blog post to the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship whose scholarship allowed me to leave the United States for the first time. I am forever grateful to this scholarship for allowing me to study abroad where I could fully submerge myself in a new culture. I met incredible people along the way while seeing amazing beautiful and natural sites of Costa Rica. I have learned so much from my experience abroad and this would have never been possible without the Gilman Scholarship and I encourage all other students who are eligible and looking to study abroad to apply to this amazing scholarship.
